When I painted the kiss, I wanted to take something sweet and small, and make it BIG and BOLD. I wanted to examine and exaggerate every single detail; every shine, every reflection, every shadow. I absolutely love the symbolism and nostalgia here, not to mention the brilliant aesthetic that we so often take for granted… not to mention, it’s CHOCOLATE.
