To me, this piece is about stripping back layers of pretence, and getting to the heart of our simple pleasures and core memories. I just think there's something amazing about the juxtaposition of high art and "low" subject matter, and this piece definitely straddles that line in a way that is both intensely nostalgic, and also lighthearted. Aesthetically, I am obsessed with the brazenness of this piece, for DARING to masquerade as something fancy. The "white on white" facade offers a promise of neutrality, and yet, there is nothing neutral about it. It IS high art while also poking fun at high art. It says, "Hi, I'm awesome, but I also don't take myself too seriously. Kthanksbye."

Since all of the artwork is prepared by hand, one by one, buyers generally don't mind waiting for a piece that has been carefully and specifically made for them.
